The Last Plague
The Master of the World, King of power and Knowledge. The Slayer of Beasts, the ruler of all lands he treads upon. Feared by the other creatures of this world, seen as prey and seen as destroyer.
Man has been here the least amount as those underneath him on the food chain. If nature was on a first come first served basis man would be near the bottom. Smarter than most of the others, but physically weaker than even more.
Mankind has survived wars, natural disasters and more. But the thing that still trumps them to this day, is time. Time is the forever reminder of mortality. With all the machines and great thinkers through out man’s history, no one has found a solution to this enemy.
Man has evolved past the
petty ways of his ancestors in many things. Hunting has become
shopping. Protecting has become guns, alarms and nuclear technology.
Family has become temporary. Loyalty has become a market option.
Evolution is a funny thing. It can change the slightest thing to keep a species around for a Millennia. It can decide what is best for a species, even if the species doesn’t realize it.
“They
say ‘time waits for no man’ , I say good. Cause if time waited for man,
things would never change.”- Dr. Reginald Massey, Director of
Biological Research.
